Termoekonomi is designing Estonia’s largest heat pump system
Termoekonomi has recently signed an agreement with Utilitas Tallinn AS for EPCM services for two large heat pump facilities in Estonia’s capital. This means we are responsible for project management, design, procurement, installation coordination, and commissioning of all installations (excluding groundworks and building construction).
One of the facilities extracts heat from wastewater and delivers 100 MW of district heating and 50 MW of district cooling. The other utilises seawater and provides 110 MW of district heating and 70 MW of district cooling. Both facilities are expected to be fully operational in Q1 2026 and Q1 2027 respectively, and together they will save approximately 200,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually.
