Network reinvestment and chamber reconstruction

Included reinvestment in Björkhagen, Söderort in Stockholm. An urgent leak was detected in chamber BJ72, and a temporary repair had been made.

Connection planning and phase division were carried out to ensure continuous operation. The piping between the point houses was built first, followed by the main pipe including service lines down to the long houses. Installation took place while the old asbestos cement culvert was still in operation. The area was challenging due to rock excavation; hydraulic fracturing (darding) was performed to avoid causing more leaks in the old culvert.

This was followed by the removal of two chambers and restoration.
