New connection of district heating

The project started in September 2017 and is still ongoing (October 2020). It involves a new connection to a development area in Hägerstensåsen.

The project has required extensive coordination with construction contractors, property owners, other utility owners, and building designers. Three connection points with redundancy were needed to meet the power demand. There have been tight passages, multiple phase divisions, rock blasting close to buildings, and adjustments for the subway. Permitting, searching for documentation related to the subway and foundations of existing buildings were also required.

Our assignment included design with power calculations and construction management including BAS-P, preparation of the work environment plan, and risk analysis.
